About Matthew Poliquin
Matthew Poliquin was born and raised in Maine where he dreamed of becoming a pyrotechnician. Deciding that it might be an impractical profession, he set his sights on filmmaking and made his way to Emerson College, where he studied film. Upon graduation, Matthew moved to Los Angeles where he began his career in the entertainment industry. After making his rounds in production, he landed at FremantleMedia - coordinating and producing for the company’s in-house comedy development think tank. It was here that Matthew’s organized and pragmatic sensibilities were put to use and where he developed an understanding of the creative process and the space and support it needs in order to flourish. In late 2005, he brought his talents to Ingenuity Studios where he helped grow the fledgling visual effects company into the thriving studio it is today.As Executive Producer at Ingenuity studios, Matthew finally has the means to set things on fire and blow stuff up. digitally.
