Atlas Ad Astra A Missile Silo Adventure Resort located in the center of the United States. This \"Top Secret\" underground Air Force Base was designed to be a deterrent to Nuclear War. The Atlas rocket was a Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) with a Thermal Nuclear warhead. Fortunately the Atlas rocket was never used as a weapon of mass destruction, but instead were converted into Spacecraft to take our first Astronauts into orbit around our planet. Now we are repurposing this abandoned underground military base into an Educational Center for Space Studies. Here we will learn about the technologies needed to send humans into space to live on the moon & other planets. Come visit and learn about designing disaster resilience into our lives with systems that will produce: Fresh Food Clean Air Pure Water Secure Shelter Consistent Energy Health/Medical Communications Currently we give historical tours & allow camping on the Missile Base.
