About Matthew Durbin
I am the SVP Digital Asset Strategy & Technical Services for Cyclyx. My role is to develop solutions for the most difficult challenges facing plastic recycling. This includes engineering, construction and operationalization of custom processing assets with capacity >400million lbs of inbound waste plastic annually, creating and implementing digital/software solutions that enable recycling at world-scale (>10 billion lbs/year), and technical assessments and approach to handling the incredible variability of chemistry in waste plastics by leveraging new techniques to characterizing and analyzing waste plastics. I’ve led operations for the first commercial scale pyrolysis unit in the world for polystyrene.
