I am a Partner in PwC\'s Deals practice focusing on Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services. PwC\'s Deals practice is a global business that advises private equity investors and corporations on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, alliances and corporate finance transactions.I recently completed a tour in PwC\'s National Office in the Accounting Services Group. During my tour, I specialized in accounting for business combinations and functioned primarily in a risk management capacity for the firm, consulting with PwC engagement teams and clients on complex transactions.I also spent two years on secondment working in PwC\'s Capital Markets Group in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During my secondment, I advised both public and private companies on complex cross-border transactions under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP. My specialty areas of business and accounting expertise include: transaction structures, business combinations, consolidation, carve out transactions, SEC Reporting, IFRS, segments, leveraged buy-outs, corporate reorganizations and recapitalizations, joint ventures, and leasing transactions.
