During my time at FlexGen, I have built a strong foundation of expertise and accomplishments in the battery energy storage field. My role as Software Integration Manager has given me the opportunity to grow project management skills while delivering key projects for my company. My knowledge of battery and solar controls and operation adds depth to my technical skill set. I have extensive SCADA experience and a deep understanding of the requirements and opportunities for battery storage in ERCOT. While attending university, I researched and built battery microgrids in my time at the FREEDM center before graduating with a master’s degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University. As a licensed electrician and solar designer, I bring practical experience to complement my academic background. Motivated by a genuine passion for innovation, my aim is to contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that advance the renewable industry. As the Product Owner of Growth at FlexGen, I am responsible for expanding HybridOS into new markets and enhancing its capabilities beyond energy storage. My role focuses on driving geographic expansion into regions such as Europe, Australia, and other emerging markets, while also broadening HybridOS into a comprehensive SCADA solution that includes substation monitoring, control capabilities, and advanced visualization tools. Additionally, I am working to position HybridOS as a Power Plant Controller (PPC) for PV, enabling seamless integration and management of hybrid power plants. By aligning product strategy with industry needs, I support FlexGen’s mission to deliver scalable, intelligent software solutions that enhance the reliability and performance of energy storage and hybrid power systems.
