About Matthew Musico
I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a professional career in two distinct industries: higher education and online media. I’ve been writing and editing sports content since starting my own personal baseball blog in August 2011. That has led to fun opportunities at FanSided, Bleacher Report, FanDuel, Metsmerized Online, Heavy Sports, and XL Media, among others. I’ve written about all the major professional sports, but my greatest expertise resides in baseball. My bylines have generated thousands of articles and millions of pageviews. I’ve also learned quite a bit and have had success in social media marketing, and content marketing while employing effective SEO strategies to expand the digital footprint of the websites I’ve worked at. My experience in higher education has been on both sides of the undergraduate admissions table as an admissions counselor and private college counselor. I’ve worked with high school students to craft successful applications to highly selective institutions. Some of those colleges and universities include NYU, Vanderbilt University, University of Maryland, Syracuse University’s Bandier program, MIT, University of Texas at Austin, Wake Forest, Northeastern University, and Tulane University.Currently, I\'m working at BLP as a Digital Marketing Manager and diving headfirst into the paid media world on Meta, Google, X, and other places.
