Using science-based tools, technology and strategies to help customers within government agencies and private sector organizations, IEM seeks to improve disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation as well as strengthen homeland security and defense, public health, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure.At IEM, I manage the Training and Development Division within our Human Resources Directorate. As the Manager, I lead a team of Instructional Designers, Training Specialists, and an LMS Administrator to help support our new and ongoing projects- Created IEM\'s first centralized internal training structure to assist multiple projects with the design, development, organization and tracking of both in-person and online learning - Sourced and launched IEM\'s first company-wide Learning Management System,\"IEM Learn\"(based on Moodle) along with on-demand access to a large library of on-demand professional development content - Hired additional L&D professionals to fully staff the new division - Assisted with the transition of New Employee Onboarding to an online environment
