ABOUT MATTHEW KARAHALIOS
My passion for guiding individuals into small business ownership started an an early age, growing up working in my family\'s restaurant in Winston Salem, Twin City Diner. I was directly exposed to the importance of a consistent work ethic and the value of customer engagement, through working every position in the restaurant prior to attending college. I spent the first four years of my career with Textron Specialized Vehicles, before being introduced to the franchising industry thanks to my college roommate. I spent a year with Driven Brands, then four and a half years with Burn Boot Camp, focused on new franchise sales. I helped the Burn team take the company from 125 locations to 320+ during my tenure, wearing many hats along the way. I now serve as the Director of Franchise Development for Buzz Franchise Brands, where I am responsible for all development activities related to new franchise sales for British Swim School, Pool Scouts, Home Clean Heroes, and Grand Illuminations.
