I advise individuals and entities in a wide variety of business litigation, employment litigation, litigation avoidance, and securities enforcement matters. Among other things, I have successfully litigated cases concerning non-competition agreements, alleged breach of fiduciary duties, cost accounting, management and control of closely-held corporations, alleged breach of contract, and allegations of unfair and deceptive trade practices. In addition, I regularly counsel clients subject to SEC investigations, civil enforcement actions, as well as clients charged with violations of the securities laws by the SEC, FINRA and state agencies. By way of example, these investigations have included disclosure, revenue recognition, derivatives accounting, insider trading, options backdating, market timing and late trading matters.Within the firm, I have substantial management responsibilities for the firm\'s junior attorneys and support staff and have led various initiatives to revise the firm\'s retirement plan, health plan, and lease.
