A Million Thanks is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization that provides support services to our military men and women. The organization has three main missions, all of which benefit our active military and veterans alike. The organization sends letters of thanks and support (9 million plus to date), written by citizens from all around the country. A Million Thanks also grants wishes to wounded military through the Grant-A-Wish program as well as provide higher education scholarships to children of fallen military through the Fund-A-Scholar program.The organization started over ten years ago as simply an idea to support the local community in Orange County, California. It quickly grew into a national campaign with each mission gaining it\'s own name, identity, market presence, and strong network of supporters. While we are national and international in scope, we operate as a small non-profit and are proud to say that everything we do directly supports the men and women of the United States military!

AMBITIOUS. EFFICIENT. THOROUGH. RELATABLE. GLOBAL. WHO: A talented professional with experience in the business operations, nonprofit management, recruiting, advancement and international relations fields. My experience spans across multiple industries including business acquisitions and management, nonprofit management, business operations/logistics, IT and higher education. I have been in multiple sales and advancement roles as I have worked for both private and not for profit organizations. WHAT: I am interested in furthering the goals and initiatives of an organization as they keep their primary focus on the people and relationships involved. I am motivated by creating mutually beneficial situations while always staying one step ahead of the game. WHERE: Far from the familiar. Growth happens when you step beyond your comfort zone. Sail around the world, anyone? WHY: As the world becomes increasingly interdependent through the process of globalization, we need people who understand, appreciate, and respect one another across diverse cultures and circumstances. Plus, it is incredibly fun and fulfilling work.
