I collaborate with various teams throughout the organization, including operations, finance, accounting, procurement, and IT to leverage data to deliver self-service reporting and dashboards that are both strategic and tactical. My role requires a detailed understanding of the business as well as the available data, and then using that data to create powerful reporting tools to assist stakeholders in making better decisions throughout the organization. The teams that I typically work with include corporate finance, accounting, operations, and commercial. My role also requires being passionate about telling stories with data by working with complex data sets to create dashboards and reporting that drive actionable insights for our operators and leadership. Responsibilities • Extract data from a variety of sources, such as a relational database or data lake, for use in analysis • Build interactive dashboards and reporting using Microsoft PowerBI • Complete ad-hoc reporting and data analysis using querying and data visualization tools • Engage with operational stakeholders to identify key initiatives and execute solutions to business problems using data analysis and advanced analytics • Perform quality assurance and dashboard maintenance to ensure integrity of both data and reporting
