TEATAP- The Elon Anatomical Teaching Assistant Program. TEATAP Foreman is a position that oversees every anatomy TA, tutor, and student at Elon University as well as the TEATAP liaison, lab manager, team Leaders and professors, in order to ensure the undergraduate anatomy experience working with real donors (commonly called cadavers) is seamless and as educational as possible for the students. Foreman is also responsible for the organization and leadership of two full thoracotomies and craniotomies with live audiences and a team, removing the brain, spinal cord, lungs, and heart. The TEATAP Foreman is responsible for events such as a parents weekend showcase and a TEATAP Donor Memorial to honor the silent teachers used in the lab.
