At Smartsheet, I lead the Business Systems function - a cross-functional team of over 20 professionals across software engineering, application administration, QA, architecture, and product ownership. Our team supports critical business operations across Sales, Finance, RevOps, Product, Engineering, and People teams.We design, build, and support a portfolio of 100+ system integrations and core enterprise applications - including NetSuite (ERP), Workday (HRIS), and Coupa (Procurement)- enabling secure, scalable data flows and consistent governance across the enterprise. These solutions leverage Boomi, AWS (Lambda, SNS, SQS), and internal frameworks, with observability through Datadog and logging pipelines to ensure resilience, performance, and adaptability.I also sponsor the IT portion of our automation portfolio, leveraging RPA (UiPath) to automate Finance, Sales, and HR workflows. In parallel, I partner with our AI Center of Excellence to drive enterprise adoption of generative AI - supporting chatbot development, knowledge tooling, and agentic design reviews.Alongside technical leadership, I oversee cloud development spend and integration tooling investments, aligning system strategy with business objectives. My role balances governance, roadmap ownership, developer enablement, stakeholder alignment, and operational execution – all focused on simplifying complexity and scaling enterprise impact.
