ABOUT MATT FERRY
I am a Special Advisor within the Communications and Regulatory Management Office, Office of Clean Air Programs, at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Over my career I have contributed to initiatives across the private, public, and social sectors. I have led client strategy and implementation through project management, organizational transformation, and stakeholder engagement. In past engagements I served clients in green customs and environmental enforcement, international trade policy, and public health, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the National Institutes of Health, and the White House Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy.In 2020 I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an M.S.Ed. in International Educational Development. Before Penn I taught in Jordan as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.I am also an avid runner and coach. Through running marathons I have fundraised over for charity. I work with a small roster of athletes racing the mile to the marathon, and the beyond of ultra running. I have coached finishers of UTMB Eiger 100k and Leadville 100, including the multi-day Transalpine Run.
