Led sustainability consulting engagement with top-grossing US fast-food chain, helping achieve 100% sustainably sourced coffee 1 year ahead of schedule Directed cross-functional engagements with Coca-Cola and Costa Coffee developing corporate social responsibility content and sustainability reporting platforms, to collate data from 6 multi-national suppliers supplying ca. 45K tons. Implemented traceability systems for 4th largest coffee and tea ‘white labelers’ in N America, to fulfill needs of Walmart and begin scope 3 carbon footprinting. Facilitated working group for German Government (GIZ) comprised of environmental policy and remote sensing experts. Authored pragmatic guide on EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) lauded by experts at FAO, European Forest Institute and elsewhere as providing a much-needed tactical guide for all actors. Drafted proposal awarded $1.5M from Gates Foundation. Developed plan for data repository in collaboration with Ethiopian Coffee & Tea Association. Led development of AI prompt to generate functional POC in 1 day.
