Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me. I\'m always happy to connect and network, so feel free to drop me a line! My name is Matt, and for the past few years I have worked as an HR professional and leader in the generalist space. I\'ve found success and passion in being an advocate for the frontline and consultant for business partners, and pride myself in being able to develop strong rapport with those I work with. I enjoy the strategic side of HR and helping business partners to achieve their goals and objectives while delivering results of my own. I also believe that very few workplaces are healthy if they don\'t value their people and put their people\'s work-life needs at the top. Good culture is built on a number of values and principles including trust, open communication, and balance of work-life and results. The way work gets done is critical and people will fit where they thrive and enjoy getting work done. Some of the areas I have thrived in, and led business partners through, have been people and workforce planning, capability building and training, utilizing data to help drive business action and results, campus recruiting, strengthening workplace culture, and change management. Outside of my professional life, some of my interests are family time, food and healthy eating, playing and watching basketball (and most sports), disc golf, board games, and spending time in the outdoors.
