About Matthew Grote
As a Lead Cyber Security Instructor and technologist, my primary responsibility is to design and deliver comprehensive training programs that equip students with the knowledge and skills to safeguard their organizations\' digital assets. I work closely with my team to develop up-to-date curriculum materials with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. In addition to designing course materials, I spend a significant amount of time instructing students in classroom and lab environments, using various teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, to ensure that students fully grasp the material and can apply it in real-world situations. As the Lead Instructor, I am also responsible for overseeing the development and execution of assessments, exams, and certification processes to evaluate students\' mastery of the course content. Furthermore, as a technologist, I understand the principles of science, mathematics, and engineering. I am skilled in using various tools and technologies, such as software development tools, databases, and network systems. I work closely with other teams to provide students with access to cutting-edge tools and technologies essential for learning about and responding to cyber threats. Overall, my role requires a deep understanding of the cyber landscape and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language. I take pride in my work and am committed to ensuring that every student who passes through my courses leaves with a solid foundation in cyber security that will serve them well in their careers.
