About Matthew Pappas
I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2024 with a degree in Communication and minors in Legal Studies and Political Science. Shortly after, I began my legal education at South Texas College of Law Houston, where I’ve just completed my 1L year and currently serve as a Freshman Senator in the Student Bar Association. During my first year of law school, I took core courses including Torts, Criminal Law, Contracts, Civil Procedure, and Property Law, laying the groundwork for my continued legal education. I’m especially drawn to advocacy, strategy, and the challenge of solving real-world legal problems. Outside of school and work, I enjoy hunting, fishing, sports, food, and just about anything outdoors. I’m always looking to learn, grow, and connect with others, and I strive to maintain a positive outlook and an open mind to further both my personal and professional growth.
