Since the founding of Chicago Jesuit Academy in 2004, I have served as CJA\'s president and teamed with families, benefactors, board members, volunteers, faculty and staff to recruit, educate and graduate hundreds of CJA alumni to college prep high schools. Together, we support each CJA alumnus on their unique path to meaningful employment and lives of service as persons for others in the Jesuit tradition. CJA alumni earn college degrees at a rate that is 7.3x their neighborhood peers through their hard work and the support of our school and CJA’s innovative College & Career Persistence Team. We also partner with the University of Notre Dame’s Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) to help hundreds of students at traditional public, public charter and private elementary schools explore, apply to, enroll at and persist in their best-fit high schools in collaboration with their families, teachers and school leaders through CJA’s High School Bridge program.
