ABOUT MATTHEW GERARD JACKSON
Active TS / SCI Clearance | NITRO Certified | CSP CertifiedAs a US Secret Service Special Agent, I have gained experience in a broad array of investigative and executive protection functions. After a three-year stint as a uniformed officer assigned to the White House, I completed additional training and earned Special Agent status, resulting in an assignment to the Baltimore Field Office. While in Baltimore, I led a $1M credit card fraud investigation, where we seized a suspect’s home and five vehicles.Next, I spent four years providing protection to President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush. This included conducting advances for Pres. Bush’s frequent mountain bike rides; accompanying him to the 2005 APEC summit in South Korea; and traveling with him on a trip to St. Petersburgh, Russia.Moving to the Newark (NJ) Field Office, I served as an acting Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge (ATSAIC), supervising 14 agents on the Counterfeit Squad. Transitioning to the Washington, DC Field Office, I spent two years in the Criminal Investigation Division followed by two years as a member of the Washington Metropolitan Electronic Crimes Task Force. During that assignment, I completed NITRO and CSP certifications. In 2014, I was promoted to Lead ATSAIC for the Protection Squad at the Washington Field Office, with accountability for protective details covering numerous visiting dignitaries. Since January, 2018, I have been working for the Dignitary Protection Division as a Shift Leader and most recently as the ATSAIC responsible for credentialing local law enforcement, members of the media, and volunteers involved in high-profile events and visits of foreign dignitaries.Areas of Expertise:Cyber Security Network Intrusion Site Assessments Protective AdvancesCounter Surveillance Security Planning Criminal Investigations International Security Team Leadership Supervision Employee DevelopmentContact me: M••••••••@gmail.com | 44••••••11
