About Matthew Godfrey
Graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi and The University of Texas at Austin\'s advertising graduate program. I conjointly completed three semesters in the Texas Creative Sequence. I am currently obtaining teacher certification as a part of the Prison Yoga Project and am a nationally certified dementia practitioner. My professional background includes educating and fostering student development at the collegiate level. Additionally, I have worked in promotion, art direction, design and marketing for a variety of brands and services. Such products include zoos, theaters, restaurants, asphalt & emulsions, museums, medical services, educational services & institutions, and nonprofit organizations. I am enthusiastic about creating connections between people through promotion, education, art and wellness. I currently develop person-centered care opportunities and cultivate relationships to enhance the quality of life for individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer’s and their families. I am a nationally certified dementia practitioner. In my spare time I doodle, read and have adventures with my two sons. I enjoy pop culture, travel, exercise and creating art through community theatre.
