I lead Product Operations for Ocado Technology — which basically means I’m responsible for making sure our product organisation runs smoothly, feels connected, and actually works for the humans inside it (not just the robots). My job is equal parts clarity, systems design, coaching, and gentle chaos-taming.I build the frameworks, rituals, and operating models that help our Product Managers focus on what really matters: solving meaningful problems for our warehouse operators, our retail partners, and the people who use our platform every day.In practice, that looks like:Built a clear, unified Product Hierarchy so everyone knows how their work ties to strategy, metrics, and outcomes (no more “mystery prioritisation”).Redesigned the end-to-end product lifecycle — simplifying discovery, launch, and learn so teams can spend less time wrestling process and more time understanding customers.Made it genuinely easy for PMs to spend time with users and partners, balancing real human insight with data (because dashboards are useful, but conversations are magic).Created and embedded our Product Skills framework so PMs can grow in craft, confidence, influence, and strategic thinking — not just churn out tickets.Continue to partner across engineering, design, ops, and commercial to keep us aligned on outcomes instead of output, and to create a culture where product thinking thrives.I care deeply about building product organisations that feel thoughtful, intentional, and human. I love bringing structure to complexity, I love a beautifully tidy operating model, and I love seeing PMs grow into the most capable, confident versions of themselves.
