ABOUT MATTHEW RODGERS
Versatile, passionate, experienced and positive. A career of two halves:First Half:Following 3 years qualifying as an accountant through AAT, I spent a number of years working for and then going on to lead customer service operations for two highly respected \'superbrands\'. Those years helped me develop all of the skills and competencies you would expect in a role that is responsible for a busy, front line contact centre: target delivery, colleague development and employee satisfaction, cultural change, operational change, union relationships, sales etc.In that time I also developed and fine tuned a personal style that utilised my strong interpersonal skills and encouraged engagement from teams towards a businesses vision and goal. I now consider myself a very strong face to face communicator with a creative outlook to engage others towards a shared purpose. Driven to succeed I set a fast pace with my commitment, energy and enthusiasm for all things customer and people related.Second Half: Versatility. In 2014 I then took a leap of faith in myself and switched headset for hardhat and started again. The aim? To build up a different set of skills and strengthen myself as a leader for the future. I became a Commercial Contract Manager for a power station at the Port of Liverpool - moving from a modern working environment to a porta-cabin on the Mersey,Strategic thinking, business acumen, analytical, negotiation skills, problem solving, internal and external relationship management (government, local organisations, customer interface, policy, regulation, legal, finance).Combined with my passion and positivity I have continued to grow in that role and already see myself as a stronger, more skilled leader with an eye on nothing else but continuing to enjoy the development and opportunities that come my way, learning from those that have something to teach and looking to give back more than I take.Then.I am also the founder of CV SOS. During the 2020-21 COVID-19 pandemic I set about finding a way to bring professional resume solutions to those that needed it most.I wanted to ensure that all those who faced uphill challenges as a direct or indirect result of the pandemic, specifically with their employment, were given the helping hand that they needed and deserved. The result was CV SOS. A resume service to help school leavers, NHS workers and those made redundant. We help by providing top rated CV services at a very reasonable price. I am very proud of its roots and that journey of helping many of our customers achieve their career goals.
