Matthew De Jesus is the Head Coach of the Boys’ Basketball Program at Bethlehem Christian School (BCS), where he has built one of the most successful and rapidly rising programs in District XI 1A. Now entering his fifth season, De Jesus brings nearly two decades of coaching experience and a proven ability to develop players both on and off the court. His program is built on discipline, player development, and a strong emphasis on basketball IQ and leadership.Under his leadership, BCS has compiled an 87–25 record over the past four seasons, including back-to-back 26–3 seasons, multiple conference championships, and back-to-back District XI 1A titles (2025, 2026). Since joining the PIAA just four years ago, the program has made four consecutive District and State playoff appearances, advancing to the PIAA Sweet 16 in three of those four seasons.De Jesus has helped develop over 20+ collegiate players and has coached some of the top talent in the Lehigh Valley, including Gabriel Transue (2,257 career points,#2 in Lehigh Valley history) and Myles Harris (1,901 career points,#2 in BCS history). Grounded in his “Uncommon” philosophy, he continues to build a culture focused on integrity, toughness, and servant leadership.
