At Pentair, I am a global leader for all IoT and Smart Product development.At Atom Power, I was responsible for delivering the first industrial circuit protection and EVSE commercial products to market that leveraged the world\'s first UL-approved solid-state circuit breaker, a technology that enables software-defined circuit protection, load control, and monitoring. At Cree Lighting, I transformed a traditional hardware company into a multifaceted hardware and software as a service business, acting as a true change agent to generate new business opportunities and recurring revenue in a rapidly changing market. I championed initiatives to increase profitability of new products by 22%, decrease product returns by 99%, and reduce time to market by 38% for new product introductions.I established the intelligent lighting controls business within Cree Lighting, building a full-stack software development team and introducing market-disruptive lighting controls and IoT systems. By implementing the Agile Framework into a traditional waterfall organization, my team launched the company’s first Internet of Things (IoT) solution and helped increase the company’s revenue of intelligent lighting products by more than 36% year over year. As the technical lead on innovative systems for a Department of Defense contractor, I delivered mission critical projects requiring Top Secret security clearance (SCI with SSBI) and was awarded the USSOCOM acknowledgement of outstanding project and technical execution. I leveraged my systems engineering pedigree to deliver specialized electronics such as fire-control and space-based radar systems, electronic border protection solutions, and maritime integrated controls.I am passionate about challenging the status quo, fostering critical thinking, empowering the workforce and growing new leaders.
