I am a Senior R&D Engineer Team Lead at DNA Electronics (DNAe), a company that develops rapid, accurate and actionable molecular diagnostics solutions. With over seven years of experience in the med tech sector, I have a strong background in design and innovation, as well as in additive manufacturing, laser cutting, injection moulding and CNC machining.My role involves overseeing a team of production and workshop technicians to create innovative concepts for instrumentation, custom components, mechanical assemblies, sensors and consumables. I apply my creative thinking, problem-solving and project planning skills to address the technical needs of production and DFMA. I also work closely with cross functional R&D teams to quickly iterate assay workflows that enable novel biosensing approaches for point-of-care devices and home use diagnostics. I am passionate about learning new design methodologies and collaborating with inspiring and like-minded people.
