Writers approach me when needing help with creative writing projects, most of which are book-length novels and memoirs. These engagements often involve a brief writing sample, such as a chapter, that I read before meeting with the author to discuss the project for one or two hours. Most writers want to learn what to do with a finished manuscript. I recommend approaches to publishing as well as discussing the strengths and weaknesses of the project. Often, the initial manuscript consultation evolves into a regular editing experience with writing coaching or a manuscript review.
