About Matthew Symons
Most autonomous ground systems programs don’t fail because the technology doesn’t work. They fail because the acquisition strategy can’t move them from demonstration to production. That’s the problem I work on.I lead program strategy, competitive capture, and solution architecture for autonomous ground vehicle and fires integration programs. My focus is the full lifecycle: shaping the win, building the proposal, executing the program, and navigating the transition decisions that determine whether a capability reaches the force or dies between OT and the production line.Army combat arms officer turned defense acquisition leader.
