I provide quality assurance and quality control for tasks that range from editing reports and manuscripts to managing and coordinating internal departments and outside vendors. I have edited books and essay collections on museums and technology, real estate, financial regulation and compliance, and trampolining; and written about online fantasy sports, movies, and baseball. I have developed, populated, and maintained websites and online and print catalogs and collections.I studied literatures of the world, with minors in history and writing. I started in technical editing at a construction consulting firm more than twenty years ago; moved to foreign rights at a literary agency; established an editorial and publications manager role at an environmental and engineering firm; and took a detour for my MLIS. I now manage publications and content at a global consulting firm, with side jobs editing and working at public libraries.I love quirky and arcane grammar. I enjoy a wild-goose chase because of the tangents along the way.I have expertise with editing, copy editing, and proofreading; database, information, and collection management (and rearranging bookshelves); and social media. I have worked across industries including construction, energy, economics, environmental, finance, healthcare, investigations, retail, and telecommunications, media, and technology.
