Wide ranging involvement in a variety of Failure Analyses to solve technical problems and develop practical recommendations for operating environments. As a Responsible Member for Apave IRISNDT, authenticate and validate Materials Engineering and Failure Analysis Professional Work Products (PWP). Review PWPs to ensure they meet Apave IRISNDT\'s Professional Practice Management Plan and internal standards for quality and ease-of-use for our customers. Experience in pipelines, upstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, and chemical processing facilities.Analyses include a variety of materials (from A to Z!) such as: cast irons, carbon steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels (martensitic, austenitic, duplex); various other metals (aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, nickel, titanium, zirconium); and non-metallic materials (Fibre Reinforced Plastics (FRP), plastics, elastomers, polymers, concrete). Other tasks include: Project Management, Materials Selection, Risk Based Inspection, Asset Integrity, Non-Destructive Testing, In-situ Metallography Interpretation, SEM/EDX/XRD/FTIR Interpretation, Welding Engineering support.
