Project Modeling Analyst @Pivot Energy

Assess the financial viability of solar and solar plus storage projects, considering factors such as project costs, incentives, tax credits, energy pricing, and potential risks • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business cases, project evaluations, and long-term financial planning for all Pivot projects • Collaborate across teams and departments to ensure that all financial model inputs accurately reflect the realities of the project and its contracts/agreements to preserve meaningful financial analysis outcomes • Utilize revenue projections with Energy Storage Team to add into financial model for FTM projects • Utilize internal financial models to measure sensitivities of project variables, run scenarios to highlight options for client offerings, and provide suggestions for improved product offerings • Work with Origination teams to communicate the value proposition of energy storage to customers through written materials and meetings • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to inform financial strategies for solar and solar plus storage projects • Stay up-to-date with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements in the renewable energy industry and energy storage • Perform quantitative market financial analysis to vet potential new markets for solar or storage related projects • Regularly document and share key insights from the financial modeling or energy storage analysis process with relevant stakeholders • Provide training support on initial energy storage screening to streamline storage feasibility efforts • Vet new areas of BTM energy storage markets • Gather relevant data on energy consumption, renewable energy production, and grid behavior to analyze energy storage needs and opportunities
