ABOUT MATTHEW ZUCCARI

From Glasgow, KY, Matt developed an early love for the natural world, which later shaped his professional path. He pursued this passion at Western Kentucky University, where he cemented his commitment to working with both plants and people. During a senior-year internship at the Jerry E. Baker Arboretum, Matt discovered his calling: connecting people with the beauty of the plant world. After a few years in Bowling Green, KY’s hospitality sector, he transitioned to the landscape industry in Alexandria, VA. Here, he excelled in project management, horticultural design, and account management, ultimately joining Ruppert Landscape as a Business Developer. At Ruppert, Matt achieved rapid success, becoming the first Business Developer in company history to surpass $1M in new maintenance sales in their first year and continuing this accomplishment for three consecutive years. Matt currently holds the position of Regional Business Development Manager, where he leads growth initiatives, enhances training, and builds enduring client relationships across Northern Virginia. Matt remains committed to advancing Ruppert Landscape’s mission, advocating for sustainable landscape management, and connecting communities to the greenspaces around them.
