I provide in-house legal and strategic counsel to the University’s athletic department, with a focus on the evolving landscape of name, image, and likeness (NIL) and revenue-sharing matters in collegiate athletics. My work includes advising on the legal and regulatory frameworks governing both the University and the department, including NCAA compliance, as well as managing outside counsel, litigation, conference business, and a wide range of policy and governance issues involving organizational structure and affiliated entities.Previously, I served as General Counsel to the University, overseeing all of the University’s legal affairs; before that, I served as a Division Manager and Assistant City Attorney for Boise, where I focused on airport business operations, real estate and commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, leasing (airlines, concessions, and industrial/commercial properties), ground transportation, and general local and federal government (FAA/DHS) law.
