Providing the long-range vision and direction for all of the programs of a regional non-profit organization with a mission of bringing people together to address the greatest environmental threats to the Central and Southern Appalachian region. I oversee the work of 15 program staff working to protect water quality in communities impacted by coal mines and coal-fired power plants, reduce carbon emissions, implement energy efficiency financing programs through rural electric co-ops and end mountaintop removal mining in Central Appalachia.
