Coordinates a federally funded state food assistance program that serves over people each year. Partnering with 25 Area Agencies on Aging, 22 Virginia Health Districts and 4 community partners, the program provides Older Adults and WIC families with benefits allowing them to purchase fruit, vegetables, and herbs at farmers markets across Virginia- Modernized the program’s system, moving it from a paper-based system into a technology rooted system- Manages the program’s administrative portal, ensuring proper administrative activities across all program administrators- Collects and analyzes program data to assess metrics of success and program reach including annual participation and utilization rates- Ensures the federally funded program maintains full compliance with grant requirements and successfully achieves all deliverables- Coordinated annual trainings for all stakeholders, including local agency administrators and participating farmers- Made sure all program materials, including handbook for farmers, and participant resources for individuals receiving the benefit were up to date and matched seasonal program changes.
