ABOUT MATTHEW WARD

I am currently a Junior at Bentley University with an interest in Accounting and Law. I am a person who is a team player, goal oriented, understanding, and detail oriented. I have learned these skills through coursework, internships, and community involvement. Additionally, I am a Lead Program Manager for 2+2=5 at the Bentley Service Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE), where I facilitate gym classes for Waltham students grades K-5. In these gym classes, we teach students topics such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and more through the use of physical education. I am also a member of the Bentley Investment Group (BIG). I am currently interning at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue as an investigations intern. In this role, I work alongside the Litigation Bureau as a member of their Special Enforcement Initiative Team, gaining hands on experience in financial investigations, forensic accounting, and tax fraud investigations. I am also able to apply and strengthen my knowledge of accounting, law, and more that I have developed through my coursework at Bentley University.
