Professional mission is to help to Save, Extend, Enhance, Protect Patient’s Lives through Technology and Innovation.Matt has worked in IT for nearly 25 years gaining knowledge in most areas of information technology, leadership, mergers, integrations, application lifecycles, and healthcare strategy. Always concentrating on user experience, and usability, whether physicians, clinicians, staff, or the patients themselves, optimizing their technology experience.With technical knowledge consisting of Microsoft, workstations and server hardware products, administering applications/systems for nearly every clinical/business specialty, medical devices, and integration with EMR’s. This also includes Radiology and Cardiology PACS systems to EKG systems and more. Joy is found working in the medical field where the technology changes daily and you can truly change patient\'s lives. Matt has also worked extensively with new construction builds, being involved with over 50 new facilities (clinics/hospitals) across the health system, as well nearly 35 integrations, mergers and acquisitions over the years. Team(s) consist of Tier 1, 2, 3, support and implementation for all end user hardware, from desktops, peripherals, mobile devices, applications, and medical devices.Other primary duties are planning and implementing, and converting integrations with EMR(s), clinical, business, employee system mergers & acquisitions, mobility, as well as implementation and support for over 500 various applications across the health system, including inpatient, ambulatory, HR, Finance, and operations.Teaching has always been a passion, where Matt is an Adjunct Faculty for Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Healthcare Administration. Courses taught, consist of Leadership and Behavior, Information Systems, Legal and Ethics, and other courses.Matt has been involved with HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management System Society), where he has been President, Marketing/Communications Chair, Sponsorship Chair, as well as Programming.
