Responsible for the technical development of a custom intelligent document processing application, specifically tailored to meet the needs of a major financial institution. This large-scale project necessitated the creation of a custom React frontend and a Flask backend, with integrations to the customer\'s internal services.As the technical lead, my duties included gathering customer requirements, designing the solution, and managing the engineering team tasked with delivering the application. I personally took charge of building the Flask service and overseeing the system integrations, while also collaborating closely with engineers focused on the frontend development. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in performance optimization, implementing enhancements that significantly improved system efficiency and responsiveness. My responsibilities also extended to managing the Kubernetes deployment, ensuring a scalable and reliable infrastructure that could meet the high demands of the application.In addition to building the custom application I also worked on a POC using LLMs for document extraction tasks that exceeded the customer\'s accuracy expectations.Furthermore, I designed a custom data pipeline utilizing Instabase’s API, enabling users to export annotation data for detailed analysis of annotator activities and pinpointing areas for model improvement that filled a gap in the platform\'s functionality.
