Matthew Vecchio, CRCR, is a seasoned healthcare consultant, visionary and change agent who consults with hospital and ambulatory, clinical and financial executives, managers and staff in improving their clinically-driven revenue cycle & patient financial experience in health systems nationwide. An enthusiastic expert in implementation strategy and acute/ambulatory operations, he uses interdisciplinary engagement management skills to optimize workflow efficiency in order to drive consistently positive RCM results for his clients.Over the past nearly two decades, Matthew has spearheaded and participated in roughly 100 revenue cycle transformation and EHR implementation projects across all phases of the implementation through top vendors in the industry across the United States and Puerto Rico. He also assisted with maturing the retail health RCM technology roadmap and optimization initiative for the largest retail organization in the world. He has served in the RCM Director capacity at health systems leading stakeholders across the revenue cycle in improving processes, technology and accelerating cash. Additionally, he has assisted with health policy initiatives that have ultimately passed legislation through the ACA. He has learned from the best in class in EHR implementation, which much to their credit, have enabled him to advanced RCM best practices nationally.He continues to pioneer the patient financial experience to better serve our communities. He envisions a future that restructures our healthcare system to advanced value based and preventative delivery models that can change health culture and significantly improve the health of communities.
