At SCL my roles included being the assistant coach for the main football coach, this involved doing the demonstrations, helping the younger age groups, setting up the activities and helping to explain. Also, I was the main coach for Club Energy, I would plan and deliver sessions that were fun and looked to get young children more active within sport.

ABOUT MATTHEW TYE
I am a newly qualified Primary Teacher with PE Specialism having completed my PGCE (QTS) through University of Buckingham. I have been working at St Edmund\'s since 2019 where I have worked in the Games Department initially as a Sports Coach. I have been coaching sports to children and young people since I was 16 years old.I have also volunteered within sporting events and competitions ranging from local events within Southampton to being a member of The Pack for Rugby World Cup 2015. Within my employment history, I have been both a member of a team and in charge of one. This mainly fulls around my time with Haslemere Leisure Centre when I was a lifeguard and then became a Duty Manager there. Whilst there I has to work efficiently with others, develop my communication skills and my decision making qualities.
