ABOUT MATTHEW TURNER
An experienced and driven financial markets professional with experience across Trading, Structuring and XVA. Strong modelling skills and a deep understanding of markets built from hedging the credit and market risk attached with the bank’s CVA and FVA positions. Working across all fixed income asset classes across every region in the world to minimise P&L volatility and reduce RWA. Helping both the bank and clients optimise their balance sheet and drive revenue. As well as a strong focus on risk, demonstrate a strong understanding of the regulatory framework, legal and operational functioning of the bank. A core part of the margin reform project, leading phase 1 of the project with all the major banks to a successful conclusion. Managing a team across different areas of the bank and external vendors to ensure there was no interruptions to tradingI thrive working in a team and take pride in being able to explain a concept to someone who is an intern right up to a senior board member. I am constantly looking for ways to improve both myself and the team around me. I am results driven and take great pleasure in taking a concept and seeing it through to completion.
