About Matthew Turcotte

As an innovative packaging engineer, I specialize in developing sustainable and efficient packaging solutions. I earned my Bachelor\'s degree in Packaging from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Michigan State University. My professional career began with an impactful internship at Henkel in Mentor, Ohio, where I led the transition from plastic blister packaging to environmentally friendly paper blister packaging. This experience excelled my skills in project management and sustainable design. Following this, I gained further experience at Cooper Standard, where I joined as an intern and quickly advanced to a full-time Packaging Engineering role in January 2022. From there, I was promoted to a Senior Packaging Engineer in November 2023. I contributed to various projects, improving packaging efficiency and sustainability, while ensuring project safety and quality. Now, I am actively seeking opportunities around the New York City area to leverage my career in the packaging industry.
