For more than 20 years I have assisted employers facing private litigation and government agency investigations by providing expert analyses of their employment decisions including hiring, compensation, promotion, and termination. I also help companies facing a multitude of FLSA or State wage and hour allegations including off-the-clock claims, missed meal and rest period violations, rounding issues, and regular rate calculations. I have provided written and oral expert witness testimony on wage and hour and equal employment opportunity issues in arbitration hearings and before state and federal courts.I regularly work with clients to proactively analyze and monitor their employment decisions and provides guidance on remediation efforts. Using a time keeping, computer activity, payroll and other forms of large electronic data sources my colleagues and I examine data trends and estimate potential economic losses that are critical to a client’s decision-making process. My experience covers a wide range of industries including trucking, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services, professional services, retail, logistics, information technology and education. Clients rely on me for customized and imaginative approaches to analyzing data founded in deep economic principles and easily understood by internal and external stakeholders. I regularly speak on issues concerning data retention, compensation practices, selection processes, damage calculations and statistics. As the Chair of CRA’s Labor and Employment practice, I lead a group of more than 25 practitioners who assist clients with a wide range of employee related issues. We specialize in leveraging large complex data systems to analyze employment related outcomes to provide timely and accurate information that assist our client’s decision-making process. We create individualized analytical tools designed assist clients in mediation proceedings, as well as annual compensation review cycles. The practice regularly partners with esteemed academic affiliates to examine questions concerning employment and education related outcomes associated with proposed legal and regulatory actions.
