Evaluating the efficiency of current environmental biosampling methods in regard to sampling collection for post-biological warfare attack.• Applying standard plating techniques when evaluating biological samples collected and utilizing fluorescence spectrophotometry for analyzing labeled particles. • Providing analysis results of biological samples using flow cytometry and applying flow cytometry for viability testing, using nucleic acid stains Syto 9 and Propidium Iodide.• Analyzing the efficiency of chemical formulas on the decontamination of bacterial and chemical warfare agent stimulants and testing decontamination abilities using air purification devices.• Examining coupons coated with chemical warfare agent simulants using TGA and gas chromatography. • Performing size distribution of aerosols using APS and Malvern equipment.• Developing and recording laboratory procedures and protocols to be used by lab staff including SOP’s and PHS’s.• Responsible for instrumentation/equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting and have contributed to visitor demonstrations as well as laboratory training.
