ABOUT MATTHEW STRINGER

With over 9 years of service in the British Army’s elite Parachute Regiment, including leadership roles as a team commander and specialised training as a sniper and reconnaissance operator, I’ve honed exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Operating in high-pressure environments has equipped me with the ability to manage and motivate teams, adapt to evolving challenges, and achieve objectives with precision and efficiency.In my role as a team commander, I effectively acted as a project manager. Responsible for planning and executing complex operations. This included coordinating resources, managing teams, and delivering mission critical objectives on time and under pressure. I’ve regularly engaged with senior stakeholders, briefing commanders and senior leaders to ensure alignment on objectives and adapting plans for clients requirements. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of stakeholder management, communication and the ability to remain flexible under tight deadlines. Now, I’m channeling these experiences into a new career in the corporate sector, where I aim to apply my organisational expertise, practical problem-solving abilities, and commitment to excellence. Having completed my APM PFQ qualification and currently studying for my APM PMQ, I’m eager to continue developing my skills and contributing to projects that demand high standards and effective coordination.I’m passionate about delivering results and fostering collaboration in any team or environment. I’m actively seeking opportunities where I can bring my military experience and dedication to achieving success to the corporate sector.
