About Matthew Spiwak
landed an internship with Whitesell-Green Inc. there I learned how a project manager functions in the Government/commercial construction industry. I assisted the project manager with keeping track of 24+ sub-contractors who had at least 5 men on the job each, certified payroll, and day to day operations. The most challenging aspect was communicating and trying to get all the subs to cooperate with our needs to keep the project moving in the right direction when it was behind and facings LD\'s. Once I graduated I moved back home to Jacksonville, Florida and was blessed with a job opportunity with IMC Construction Group, where I was fortunate enough to work for 2 years. There I was responsible for all schedules through P6, quotes, RFI\'s, Change Order\'s, General estimating, electrical subcontractor estimates (under electrical division) and many other day to day operations assisting all IMC project managers and all day to day operations on all federal projects in GTMO, AUTEC Bahamas, and some stateside projects for electrical. Beyond fortunate to have started a path with Stellar Group as an AP for the Federal division assisting PMs in day to day operations.
