Matthew R. Snyder leads IT and strategic consulting services that help companies future-proof, de-risk, and profit from fast-breaking changes at the landscape level. He galvanizes highly accomplished teams in designing businesses around the technologies of the future, while never losing sight of their customers of the present. He is a founding partner, Chief Marketing Officer, and COO of OmniMesh, a Syracuse, NY startup on the forefront of the sharing economy that has developed emerging technology that will revolutionize how cable operators and other providers capitalize on their underutilized infrastructure. In his prior roles, Snyder has advised CEOs, developed strategy, and served as spokesman on topics including marketing strategy, government relations, economic development, emergency management, and employee relations.Matt has extensive experience serving in strategic leadership roles at Central New York startups including Infinize, Tecana, and United Tactical Gear, in addition to providing leadership consulting to numerous other companies in the Syracuse area and GENIUS NY ecosystem. He has also served as Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y. and Director of Communications & Media Relations at Syracuse University.Snyder began his professional career in Washington, D.C, but returned home to Central New York in 2002 to support the development of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to the growth of the economic development of his hometown. A proud alumnus of American University, in Washington, D.C. Snyder holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in journalism, public affairs, and communications. He is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse Class of 2008 and the Chair Academy for Leadership Development. He is past President of the Oneida Lake Association, and the 2023 recipient of OLA\'s Conservationist of the Year honor. He lives in Brewerton, N.Y. with his wife and two children.
