Provide technical leadership, direction, consulting, project management, coordination and SME level technical expertise to development teams, teams of systems engineers and DevOps teams as it relates to enterprise Java middleware, data center infrastructure delivery, automation, content delivery networks, security and best practices. Work with teams across the enterprise to develop, design and deploy standards, procedures and documentation for technology practices including Site Reliability, Redundancy, reduction in MTTR, DevSecOps, increasing observability, deploying monitoring and expanding capabilities including scalability, increasing operational efficiency, optimizing costs, automation, Expanding the CICD footprint stances, developer enablement and migrating applications to public clouds focusing on AWS. Assist in creating and implementing the shared vision of IT and business leadership working to further solidify the Disney brand and guest experience. Assist in cloud migrations, code reviews, system designs, create technical diagrams, test scenarios, execute POCs, communicate across boundaries and serve as technical SME across multiple technology disciplines including analysis, operational support, software development, architecture, network engineering, security, cryptography, testing and database administration. Remove barriers, lead problem resolution on complex technical and resource level issues managing parallel and often demanding workloads, ensure project delivery on time with cost optimization and best practices Accountable for the operational oversite and management of several teams including Systems Engineering, DevOps Practices and Software Development including setting technical direction, implementation of strategy, budgeting and alignment of team vision to achieve goals set forth by our executive leadership Work to improve the technical and effectiveness of my team members by leading through example
