ABOUT MATTHEW SALAZAR
Currently building and supporting Product Strategy for AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and GenAI use cases. Previously, a founding Product Manager for the enterprise Generative AI Platform, building the platform 0→1 and scaling from 50 -> 400+ production use cases at target. I’m driven by complex user problems, especially where AI applications, cloud infrastructure, and real-world workflows collide, and I love shipping products that earn genuine “thank you” messages from engineers and business teams. My work spans product strategy, multi-quarter roadmaps, and prioritization across a portfolio of platform capabilities: a foundational AI Framework + SDK to optimize the development of LLM applications; tools that enable agentic workflows (including Prompt Management and Agentic Memory); and platform primitives that make development repeatable and safe, like CI/CD and the GenAI Experimentation Environment. I’ve driven adoption of all 5 services above for 100s of engineers, capturing $50M in use-case value and scaling toward engineers at target. 3 products mentioned (CI/CD, AI Framework, and GenAI Experimentation Environment all have >90% adoption amongst GenAI users). Because GenAI is non-deterministic, I’m rigorous about iteration and measurement. I define OKRs and success metrics like time-to-value, activation/adoption, SDK feature usage, latency/cost, and evaluation signals (e.g, relevance/grounding, hallucination rate) with an LLMOps mindset that includes regression testing and continuous improvement loops. I also translate data and user research into crisp PRDs and roadmap tradeoffs, so teams can move fast without thrashing.A big part of the job is advocacy: exec storytelling, alignment, and governance. I’ve aligned 12+ Product, Engineering, Design, and Legal/Risk teams to pursue $300M in target GenAI value through value proposition narratives, PRDs, and 1-year roadmaps across initiatives like the AI Framework/SDK, AI Memory service, Prompt Management System, AI Experimentation Environment, and delivery pipelines. On onboarding UX, I led the initial pitch and secured executive alignment to capture $10M in value, then partnered with the owning teams to ensure the roadmap, workflow design, and success metrics were set up for MVP launch.Clifton Strengths: Achiever, Analytical, Focus, Individualization, LearnerMBTI: ESTJ
