Contributing to the community\'s welfare, I have also brought my empathetic and connective skills to the City of Morgantown Human Rights Commission. Together with the Hook Law team, we are dedicated to delivering justice and favorable outcomes for those we serve.I am admitted to practice in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, as well as the Northern District of West Virginia, the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

I serve our clients by negotiating multi-million dollar mineral sales, oil and gas leases on tracts large and small, and surface use agreements / easements covering all aspects of coal, gas, and pipeline development, all while ensuring that the landowners\' interests are protected. I represent landowners in state and federal court to protect their mineral rights and to protect their surface from overreach by energy companies. When necessary, I have the experience to appeal adverse rulings in both state and federal court, including winning appeals in federal circuit court.
